Deserving!

You get perhaps Wellington's best day so far this summer, a drop dead gorgeous character home, and a bunch of good people wanting to buy - you have the ingredients for a very good Auction.
Harcourts Wellington City salesperson Justin Brown pronounced 23 Moffitt Street a private, city fringe paradise - and that it was. The home deserved a fitting conclusion, and got one!
Just a few kilometres from the CBD, the setting so private would have you from chaos to calm in a manner of minutes. A villa with charming character inside, and a wrap around verandah that was adored by all outside. Four bidders came to buy, one party emerged and secured the best christmas gift this festive season. With a Rating Valuation of $480,000 - 23 Moffitt Street sold under blue skies for $537,000.

Renovated Villa in Eastbourne Sells for $832,000

Mahoe Street in Eastbourne is a quiet tree lined street that attracts the sun, has minimal through traffic and is very tightly held. Number 9 fits into this area extremely well and over the years has been tastefully remodelled from the original cottage and has successfully blended old with new, featuring four bedrooms on two levels, multiple living areas, modern kitchen and a neat indoor/outdoor flow. The R.V is $850,000 with a land area of 405m2. The location is very popular amongst Eastbourne buyers according to consultant Mary Greig-Clayton and was not surprised the auctioneer bought the hammer down at $832,000 after competitive bidding.

Marine Parade in Eastbourne Popular at Auction

The harbour views from the family room on the second level at 147 Marine Parade are nothing short of spectacular similar to being front row centre at a concert. That certainly was a selling point for this four bedroom family home in what is obviously a sought after location. Two bathrooms, three living areas, serviced sleep out and a private wind free backyard were features of this property. Consultant Tamsin Mason says "there is definite demand for homes along this stretch of road and purchasing here is definitely investing in the future." The Auction was well attended with a R.V of $ 900,000 and a land area of 511 m2 the sale price achieved was $860,000
