Petone Still Popular With Buyers

Sales Consultant, Celia Barnao of Harcourts Lower Hutt marketed this property at 9 Huia Street in Petone of which she labelled a "Game of Two Halves". Calling for renovators as half of the dwelling had been renovated with the other half to go. One visit was all it took to notice the potential, well the buyers thought so anyway. The era of the home was approx 1910 - 1919 having a compact land area of 449m2. R.V for the property was $395,000 and competitive bidding realised an under the hammer return of $395,000.

Kiwi Classic Beach Cottage Sells

Long time residential consultant, Ray Marshall, of Harcourts Waikanae reports that despite media coverage on the current market, cottages are still proving popular especially in Waikanae. This one at 4 Ara Kuaka was more commonly known as "Belle Cottage" and was built of low maintenance materials had two bedrooms, double garaging and a secure, safe and sunny site of 813m2. The R.V was $350,000 and the property sold with competitive bidding under the hammer for $365,500.

Auctioneer's Hammer goes down in Eastbourne

A five bedroom home at 71 Orua Street aroused plenty of interest for buyers at the Auction on Tuesday 9th March. Harcourts manager, Mary Greig-Clayton mentioned that popular locations like Orua Street with easy location to school, the village and of course the shops always seem to bring plenty of interest. This home featured two bathrooms, three living areas, five bedrooms and a safe, secure backyard for the kids. The hammer went down at a figure of $800,000 for this property with a R.V of $810,000 and 486m2.
