Two properties were offered for sale by Auction on Thursday 13th August at the Palmerston North Auction rooms.
111 Cambridge Street in Ashhurst which was a "mortgagee" sale attracted good bidding from at least three interested parties. Being in the heart of Ashhurst township with secure fencing of the 467m2 site made this a prime property with R.V $136,000. Mike Pearson, the auctioneer, said "the home of three bedrooms still required some work but a very good result was still obtained when the property sold under the hammer for $162,000."
