There was plenty of activity around for Auctions on 6th August 2009 from the Harcourts Auction Rooms @ Coastlands. Ten properties were auctioned with all the successful results detailed below;
51 Ocean Road in Paraparaumu Beach was an "estate" sale auction marketed by Wayne Richardson of the Harcourts Paraparaumu office. Wayne says 'this home is an ideal starter home for couples, retirees or as a weekender." The location close to Paraparaumu's main beach shops and cafe's is an added bonus. The home featured two bedrooms with a surprisingly spacious cottage style charm with modern decor. R.V is $255,000 and it was sold under the auctioneers gavel at $232,500.
14 Japonica Crescent, Ranui Heights is a three bedroom home situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location where sun pours onto the deck that provide water views of the Porirua Harbour. R.V for the site of 765m2 is $280,000. Domini Fa'anoi of Harcourts Paremata marketed this home and says "the home features a great log burner for those chilly winter nights and has been refurbished." Auctioneer Mick Robbers was looking for an opening bid at $190,000 but the first bid was $270,000 with the property being sold to this bidder for $285,000.

R.V for this property is $570,000 and it was sold to the highest bidder immediately after auction for $430,000.

Beach, shops and bus services are all close by with a school across the road from this home that features three bedrooms and a garage. With an R.V of $265,000 the low maintenance materials are an added bonus for this package which sold under the hammer at auction for $262,000.

R.V for the site is $490,000 and the home was sold at auction for $445,000.
7 Temuera Street, Otaki is a mortgagee auction marketed by peter Thompson of Harcourts Otaki. There were whoops of joy from the successful purchasers of this three bedroom home with great timber floors. A site of 771m2 gives plenty of room for the family to play. Peter says " some TLC in the form of painting and decorating is all that is needed to restore this home. With an R.V of $155,000 the home was sold to very happy purchasers for $107,000.
