Marketed by Joy McIntyre of Harcourts Miramar, 9 Bowes Street, Strathmore sold after spirited bidding for $354,000. The property itself was a two bedroom "ex state" semi detached home in virtually original condition. The on site auction demonstrated there was plenty of demand for entry level property in Wellington according to Harcourts Auctioneer Eliot Falconer. The property has a R.V of $215,000 and had a half share in the land site of 994m2.
